Perennial garden flowers make any garden pop up with their bright, vivid colors and are main flower-bed source. Starting from both annual and biennial plants, notable for their spectacular colours all year round, to perennial maintenance-free herbaceous plants or beautifully blooming shrubs. There is a huge variety of perennial flowering plants and it is easy to create different compositions which will please the eye all the season round. Perennial garden plants grow back every year without needing to be replanted. Many of them are frost tolerant and generally don’t mind soil conditions.

The 4th Il Nature advertising campaign highlighted the company’s commitment to blend classic feel and elegance with a truly unique twist. The photos for the campaign were shot in a historic park during the summer of 2008. The photos continued to tell a story of an elegant lady, who is passionate about her garden. Many of the stunning shots will be included in the new Il Nature catalogue.

The 2004 Il Nature advertising campaign was shot in Courances (www.courances.net). The part is known as one of the most beautiful found anywhere in France. It has long been a favourite of film directors. For example, it is where the famous ‘Fan Fan Tulip’, starring Gina Lollobrigida was filmed.

Il Nature has been commissioned to carry out the restoration of Chateau Jonval’s classic park. Both the chateau and park are considered important historic monuments and are protected by the French state. Chateau Jonval lies in the commune of Pierrefonds, and is easily one of the most picturesque chateaus in all of France. It was the source of inspiration for Atos’ Manor in Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel ‘The Three Musketeers’. Il Nature’s talented landscape architects will restore the ancient, romantic park over the coming years. The project includes restoring old staircases, grottoes, cascades, shaded alleys and flower gardens to their original 15th and 16th century grandeur.

The modern ‘Astra Montenegro’ villa complex lies on a picturesque stretch of Adriatic coast. The area is of great historical and cultural importance, stretching back through the centuries. An importance that lasts to this day. The complementary classic and modern elements have served as inspiration for Il Nature’s landscape architects in the creation of garden and park areas throughout the complex, leading to a fundamentally new look and feel for a premium-class living space.

Garden decking is a great alternative to gravel and concrete landscape design. Here decking plank or terrace deck are used as materials, as they are commonly used in building open terraces, wharfs and decks. Specially treated cedar decking, larch and teak withstand temperature drops, keep the shape well and are rot-resistant. All these advantages allow to widely use timber decking in landscape design. Eco decking is aesthetically beautiful and blends well with surrounding landscape. Depending on the particular features of a given environment, garden decking might be executed in various colours, using either separate decks or ready-made units.

A stylish, romantic garden park, located on a riverbank in the Pskov region of Russia, inspired by techniques and traditions perfected in the creation of classical Italian parks and gardens. It is organised as a complex, multi-tiered system of terraces, each with its individual layout and purpose. The garden is located on a scenic hill leading up to a main building in the style of an English-Norman castle. Water is a central theme of the garden. From the water lilies on the mirrored surface of the pond, which on calm days perfectly reflects the spectacular surrounding views, over the ‘floating’ Cupid statue in the middle, especially imported from France, down through the tiered levels to the edge of the gently flowing river below where the bank slopes away and forms tiny, natural islets and backwaters.
